Executive Producer
This project began when an unusual gentleman by the name of Hege Inuoue (pronounced hedge in-nyew-way) approached me in the winter of 2002 and asked for my help. I had just then been licking my wounds from the dot-com crash. I presumed that Hege had wanted help with something Internet related. He asked instead that I help him record the events of another place. Having nothing else to do beside rebuild my life, I balked and told Hege I was unavailable. I have since learned of the persuasive powers that he wields, for as you see, here I am.
I asked Hege what it was all about; he replied that it was “beyond difficult” to present a capsule summary of the story, but that this should not unnerve me. Again I balked. Again I learned of his persuasiveness. Don’t get me wrong, I was never threatened; goodness no, Hege is a grand gentlemen in the universal sense of that accolade. Having listened to Hege tell me some of his background, I tried on numerous occasions to convince him to draft his autobiography. He laughed this aside each time until one day he said, “Do you realize that you are acting as a producer?” I hadn’t, but had to admit that such requests could be construed as the acts of one, and so acceded to the challenge of becoming the executive producer for the purpose of this project. Hege was overjoyed at my agreement, and, in fact, acted surprised by it, as if I had come to this conclusion solely of my own volition; to this day he still admits only of a tacit involvement, of having “directed your inertia into its proper conduit.”
Hege informed me that K’me K’ea, the High Priestess of the Worlds of Atria, could best tell the story. Whether by similar arts of persuasion or through deals that are unknown to me, she has consented and now the documenting and publishing of the story of The Ossayu of Ahmenar Ishtam has begun.
In what time Atria exists, or where, I do not know, but Hege does travel between the two, as do others, I am told. Just how they do so I have not been made privy, but they laugh, telling me I already do. Whatever.
