The story of Ahmenar takes place in another world, Atria. The telling of the story itself is leading to us collecting a world of material. We happen to like deeply immersive fantastical experiences, so we're happy to have lots of material in which to delve.
The story can be experienced on the surface, as an adventure, the way you might enjoy the work of Brian Jacque or J. K. Rowling. Or you can dive deep into the Worlds of Atria, as you may have with the works of J. R. R. Tolkien. Or you can examine the story for its quite intended symbolism and layers of metaphor, as you might have with the works of Wm. Blake or C. S. Lewis. It doesn't matter to us -- there is no right way to read these books other than the way you want to.
