How many books?
Twelve volumes. We don't yet know whether other volumes beside the first will be released in multiple books.
Do you really know the whole story?
Yup. For the most part. It's just that it takes a huge amount of time to tell it well.
Do you know the ending?
Of course. Even the very last spoken line of dialogue: who says it and what they say. We might have to turn this into a contest, now that you ask about it.
What's your expected timing?
At least a volume a year. But there'll be other materials coming out as well. And don't forget the movies.
