The book and this Web site have been built entirely on a Macintosh, a single PowerBook G4. Thank you Steve, and everyone at Apple and in the Macintosh world who make insanely great things so people can do insanely great things with them.
- This part of the site was 100% generated by code written in Perl and running on an Apache Web server with mod_perl (using MySQL for session data persistence). The html is computed then “snapped” and stored into files. The site as you browse it is file based (for performance reasons).
